With Every New Year comes New Volunteer Registration Forms. Everyone Please find a 2013 form and help us update our records They are in the sign in booklet on the jobsites, in the ReStore, and the link below.   Thank You for another Great Year!!

Volunteer Needed We need a Truck Driver/Helper for donation pick up at our ReStore on call Tuesday through Friday. If you are interested please call Pam or Suzanne at 863 292-2256.

House # 116 built with the Butler family in Bartow began March 9th with Site Foreman Henry Braun who has recently returned to Canada. Please join new Site Foreman Charles Young and the Butler Family every Saturday. 

 

House # 117 in Lake Alfred began March 4th. The Site Foreman is Ben Hausy. Please join Ben and the Key family every Thursday & Saturday as we build another Habitat Family Home.

 

House # 118 in Lake Wales begins May 4th. The Site Foreman is Donna Baldwin. Please join Donna and the Scott Family every Saturday as we build another Habitat Family Home.

  

House # 121 in Bartow is a remodel with the Blakeslee family. Please join the Blakeslees Saturdays as they remodel a Habitat home.

Whether you're a skilled craftsperson or an untrained volunteer, working Mon-Fri 9-5, or are currently unemployed we could use your help. We'll give you the opportunity to experience first hand "that no one can do everything but everyone can do something". Men and women are encouraged to lend a helping hand. We even have a Women's Building Team! Youth, sixteen years old and under must be accompanied and supervised by their parent, guardian, teacher, pastor or scout leader.

  Work at construction sites begins at 8:00am and lasts until 12:00pm. Depending upon weather conditions, the task for the day, and the number of volunteers we may leave early if done or stay later to finish up. Each site is supervised by an experienced Habitat Volunteer Site Foreman and/or Habitat Staff Project Manager.

  Habitat for Humanity provides you with everything you need to help build! If you have a favorite hammer or tool belt you like to use bring it with you! Hats are recommended and sun screen is a personel choice. Please see the dress code requirements on the back of the volunteer registration form. Drinking water and toilet provisions are provided at every site.

  Some homes are available to build at during the week. If you are busy on the weekend and still want to help we can find a site for you. For large groups of 5-10  special accomodations can be made. We will gladly work with your schedule. Please call ahead to schedule a time conveint for your group.
